About the Artist
Hello! I’m Jay Albert Yapan, a traditional artist from the Philippines. Ever since I was young, I’ve always been drawn to colors, shapes, and the stories they can tell. My artistic journey began with simple sketches, which later evolved into portraits, landscapes, and murals that reflect both personal emotions and the beauty of everyday life.
I specialize in acrylic, oil, and watercolor, exploring how each medium can bring out different moods and textures. My inspiration often comes from nature, human expressions, and the challenge of transforming fleeting moments into timeless artworks.
Over the years, I’ve created commissioned works for clients both locally and internationally. Each commission is special to me—whether it’s capturing a loved one in a portrait, designing a statement mural, or creating an abstract piece that resonates with a client’s story. I believe art should not only be seen, but also felt.
Thank you for visiting my portfolio. If you’d like to bring a personal vision to life through art, feel free to check out my Commission Section.
